We all know that Ed played bass on co-produced it, and even laid down a "secret" guitar lick on it somewhere.

But did Mike sing background on it at all?
I just watched the "Hands & Knees" video and it sure sounds like Mike singing.
Cool video, kind of sums up whats been going on the last few years. Sammy wants to jam, Eddie wants to sleep, Alex is playing by himself, & Mike is just chillin' by the pool with his dog.
'Old Van Halen, when I was in it-classic Van Halen-makes you wanna drink, dance and screw, right? And the new Van Halen encourages you to drink milk, drive a Nissan and have a relationship.' - David Lee Roth.

all it says is "background vocals-everyone." i always thought that meant just the guys on the record, not everyone and anyone including the rest of VH.

i'd still like to find out what Ed's one guitar part was on there...

I remember reading an article when that album came out where Sam said Mikey did some backing vocals.

According to the Side Projects page at the Official Van Halen site, Eddie contributed a short tapped lead solo section to "Eagles Fly" and Mike added background vocals but is uncredited.
“And what we have at our fingertips is arguably one of the greatest high tenor voices ever – that was in Michael Anthony. In our tiny little corner of the universe, that voice is as identifiable as the high voice in Earth, Wind & Fire, as identifiable as the high voice in the Beach Boys. Van Halen is an indelicate house blend of both – that’s intentionally. So I would always look forward to that reunion.” - David Lee Roth

The last song on the album entitled "What they gonna say now?" Eddie plays a fairly tricky tapping type lick right before the vocal first comes in, that is Ed's part on the guitar.
