I don't know which, if any is most believable.


1) Van Halen is wrapping up album with Dave as we speak.

2) Eddie has given up on Dave returning and has contacted Sammy to patch things up and for the Red Rocker to return to the band and he is leaning toward returning.

3) Eddie, Alex & Mike will be making a "surprise" appearance at Sammy's B-day bash next month. To test run new songs to a live audience.


Like I said, these are some of what has been circulating around the industry lately. As usual take them with a hole gallon of salt.

Not much action going on since tragedies in regards to info gathering, all attentions have been elsewhere. Now things are just returning to normal (what ever that is these days).

Well, if there is to be a resurection of Van Halen it will either be with Dave (God let's hope not) or with Sammy, that is for certain. The real question now is after all this time and bullshit will anyone really care? I mean really, who is really going to care, and if it is Sammy what is left of the Daveheads will be pissed off all over again.

I think it's really #1 or nothing at this point. I was leaning toward actually seeing #2 happening about 2 months ago, but at this point I either think the DLR thing will happen or VH will call it a day.

Either way, I am QUICKLY losing interest...just like a lot of others.

The world will end before #2 and #3 come true. Sammy is gone! If VH brought him back it would be a mistake. Uh by the way, if Sammy Hagar (Shit Head) came back it would not be a reunion, he is NOT the original singer. (Thank God!)

Dave will be back and all the children will be disappointed.

Not many around who even remember Dave, that was 20+ years ago, those people are all sitting in old age homes now *lol* Dave would be a commercial failure and a tour would result in total chaos as is wouldn't survive the second leg as they would just break-up which nobody would care about anyway. At least with Sammy there is a much better chance for a long term deal with multiple album and tours...plus Sammy would get them back on charts with another song of love which would result in more sales and staying power. DLR would result in a quick hit and a dead album within 2 months, faster than his wig would fall off!. Dave is the grave.

Good to see some life back in the RM.

I think things with Dave are done. I hate to admit it - because I thought MWM was a brilliant song - and really showed where VH could have gone with a little more "gel time". Plus I have never seen them live....

However, I think Al, Mike and Ed showing up at Cabo would be a fucking kick ass way to announce a reunion.

Either way - at this point I am just looking for a pulse...

I am still of the belief that Dave is coming back. Lately I have been hoping that since Dave has not announced anymore tour dates that he is back finishing the release up for a release at some point next year.

Remember, according to Dave "it is inevitable"

Eddie just does not know what goes on in Dave's reality. Remember Ed, we dont either, its okay. Enjoy the music !!

But these are really out there and I like all of you are just as confused.
If you asked me a month or so ago I would have believed that Sammy was back.
Now with no new tour dates announced by Dave and the lack of name calling between both sides since Gary left once again has me believing that Dave is indeed going to return.
How and when? I haven't a fucking clue.
