SHOULD WARNER BROS REMASTER 5150&OU812?

I don't know about '5150' but 'OU812' definitely needs it. The bass is so hard to hear. That's why it was nice to hear the songs off of 'OU812' in concert. You were then able to hear bad-ass Mikey!

I'd say do them all up to Balance when they finally got it right. Hell, I think they should remix 3 so you can hear the bass and Mike's backing vocals but I know that would end up selling something like 10 copies.

I thought we read in an interview with Sammy or maybe it was Edward's golf pro or somebody that the next set of remasters are ready to go - in fact I think they were supposed to have been released by now, but the date was changed. Didn't mention which ones were remastered though.

5150 & OU812 definately need remastering, however I don't think they'll be released before a new album - whenever that will be...

Both could use some work for sure. OU812 is probably the worst sounding VH release, followed by the Cherone release.

They should remaster 5150, OU812 and F.U.C.K. BALANCE doesn't need it (unless they include CROSSING OVER as a bonus track, which I still woudn't buy because I have the Japanese version).

I agree both 5150 & OU812 could use some work. But simply remastering, although certainly bringing increased clarity and sonic dimensions to the music, would not necessarily bring that extra bass kick we all want - especially in the case of OU812. You'd have to actually remix the music, and I'm not sure the boys would be very pleased about this happening if it weren't under their direct supervision. Also, this would literally be changing an album I really love, although I'm not saying it wouldn't sound better following the process.
