Cool song, in my opinion. Even though I don't know what the hell Gary's singing about.

(Not that I know what he's singing about in any other song, either.

)

It's way better than Josephina.

Ouch...

The riff is catchy and Eddie's solo is big-pimpin.

I liked the build up at the end, as well.

But am I the only one who thought the guitar was slightly out of tune?

It sounded slightly off to me.

God, anything would have been better than How Many Say I. TWILY is,in my opinion the best tune they did with Gary and when i heard it, I couldn't believe it wasn't put on 3. And the guitar thing, I think it's just tuned down a half an octave cuz i cant figure out anything past the beginning.

Great song, one of the best they did with Gary (and I like III

). It definitely would have been great on III, but obviously Eddie had a different vision of things and decided to pull it.

Also, supposedly before Gary left/kicked out, this was going to be the first single on the upcoming album.

<HR></BLOCKQUOTE>For about ten seconds before that it kinda sounds like the slide part of "Dirty Movies". Then at 3.20 it sounds a bit like the scraping at the start of Everybody Wants Some. Is that what you're referring to?

What do you all think of this tune?? I don't think it is bad at all for the Cherone era of VH, and am not sure why they felt it did not fit in with the 3 album.

I love TWILY. I like some of VH3 as well, but that song was definitely the best one they did with Gary, IMO. Why they chose to not put it on the album I will never EVER understand.

I wish we could get a definitve word on whether Ed and Al's Mom is still alive. Because TWILY was dropped in favor of Josephina, which was written about the bands' Moms. In light of Eugenia VH's battle with cancer (and its uncertain outcome) it's not surprising that EVH wanted Josephina on III.

Of course, Josephina could have been added without removing anything, but obviously that's not the vision the Eddie had for the album.

TWILY should have been on the album.
I think I would rather have TWILY on then "Ballot Or The Bullet" To me that song is almost as bad as "How Many Say I"

I always thought that Ballot was weak...

Although the chorus to this tune is a little cheesy, I think the music on this tune kicks.

Why they cut TWILY from III is beyond me. If they were adamant on having Josephina in, they could have cut How Many Say I out and replaced it. (Which, to this day, I have not listened to all the way through. Something about nausea. Sorry Ed

)

It's a great song, though my boot download had a bit of a warble in it.
