Cool thing from the Live RHRN Vid.....

I was watching the VHS of Live RHRN this weekend, and noticed at the end of "Top Of The World", you can clearly see Ed hook an arm around Sam's neck from behind and give him a very sincere hug.

Just thought that was cool and made me smile about the good times.

I watched it on DVD last night and Top Of The World too. It sucks that that was probably the last tour where they all got along really well.

i only bought it yesterday and think it's a great dvd except for the costume changes mid-song. using 2 nights' footage is fine but they should have kept changes between songs.

a couple of things sammy said did make me think though. before ed's solo sammy says he's one of his best friends in the world and that they live next door to each other. it's just a shame that such a good friendship could go downhill because of stupid mistakes and manipulative management. it would be nice for them to make up with each other, even if it's not for musical purposes but just for their friendship.

It is a shame anytime a relationship goes sour. Hopefully, these two will meet again and bury the hatchet. Life is too short.

Wolfman, I was watching a rebroadcast of Alice in Chains Unplugged on MTV2 and an eerily similar moment happens with Layne and Jerry at the end of that performance. Jerry and Layne embrace as they walk off stage. It bummed me out in the same way as Eddie and Sammy's hug. It ain't never gonna happen again. Well, maybe at the Rock and Roll Induction, but I doubt it. And if it does it won't be sincere.
