"Spanked" shouldn't get spanked

I honestly don't understand the repeated bashing of Spanked on every VH board I've ever encountered. It has such an intriguing introduction -- one of the best on F.U.C.K. -- and sounds great all the way through. Maybe it's just one of those love it or hate it tunes that gets people all riled up. Otherwise, I can't explain why so many people turn up their noses.

I like it too actually. I don't mind listening to it and don't skip over it too often unless I wanna get to "The Dream is Over" or "Top of the World."

Spanked is OK, but it's not as good as Poundcake, The Dream Is Over, and Right Now. Although the lyrics aren't too good, the music is.

It's okay, the music is pretty cool and even the lyrics are humorous enough. Certainly not one of the best songs on the album, but alright. Actually, I haven't listened to that album in ages, maybe it's time.

Like the song, coooooool bass guitar stuff by Ed and Mike, I like the breakdown-the middle part. Very Led Zepplinish, I guess the Andy Johns influence was pretty strong in this one. I like the version on the LRHRN video alot. Overall I think people should cut this song some slack.
