I have so many but I'll try to keep the list a reasonable size:
"Oh my god!"
Ed's solos on Summer Nights, "5150", Hot For Teacher, Feelin', Sinner's Swing!, Right Now
Mean Street intro
Don't Tell Me riff
Sammy's screams at the end of "5150" and Feelin'
"Look, I'll pay ya for it, what the fuck?"
When the drums enter Summer Nights
"Psst, hey, come on man, wake up."
Outro to Me Wise Magic"It's so damn hot... milk was a bad choice." --Ron Burgundy, Anchorman

Cool choices! Im gonna try some that haven't been mentioned yet......
1. The high 16th notes that Mike goes to on Poundcake, then back down to the main 16th note groove that he uses the rest of the song. Towards the end.
2. The end of Good Enough, when Sammy's screaming and Ed switches to the more sustaining notes in the main riff, the only one holding the original groove is Alex, totally classic!
3. I like the opening of meansteet, the part when the drums kick in and Ed does a harmonic line along with the roll that Alex does.
4. On 5150, after Ed's solo, how he kicks right back into the opening riff again without a break, that just kills in concert!
5. The Chorus to 5150!

any of the van halen songs where the chorus picks up in tempo. usually the guitar kicks it up a notch and you are going for a rock and roll ride brothersthat you will always love. to me take running with the devil. The opening guitar riff is like a old ride on the boardwalk at the jersey shore. you know what it will do, when it does it, how fast and how hard but it still rocks your world. it is the same on running with the devil intro or jump in the chorus. you know it coming. you know it time to grow your hair long and head bang and make some noise and yet it still hits you like a ton of bricks and afterward you want to smoke a ciggeratte because it was that damm good.
