"Humans Being" questions...

It seems like the general consensus (or fact) is that VH had to finish this tune without Sammy. Is that right? If so, what about the video? Wasn't there a video for this tune and, if so, I guess it was done before Sammy left? How can this be??? [img]graemlins/drunk.gif[/img]

Here's part of an interview with Eddie from Guitar magazine January 1997:-

Twister director Jan De Bont had called me and asked me about doing this music for Twister and Ray Daniels suggested making it the whole band. Now De Bont, Alex and I all told Sammy, "Don't write about tornadoes."
What does he come in with? "The sky is turning black/my knuckles are turning white/headed for the hot zone." Argh. The song was not all there. So I ended up at the 11th hour pulling out "Humans Being" which had more of an attitude. But Sammy didn't want to finish that song, so I did the singing an octave beneath it. Somebody had to finish it.
Then De Bont came up to hear the music, and while we were mainly hired to do a rock and roll song, which was "Humans Being," Jan also wanted a song about a relationship. He walked in and heard an instrumental that Alex and I had worked on, and he said "What is that? I've got to have it." So he picked that for the end of the movie over the other song; it was out of our hands.

Sammy left after finishing Humans Being, probably very shortly thereafter. He is in the video for Humans Being that is on the Van Halen Video Hits DVD, so yeah he was in it.

I know that it has nothing to do with the topic...but, since I am not american, could somebody explain to me why the word "human" has the final "s"?
I know that there must be a reason, but I can't figure it out!
I mean, is not the word human an adjective, or what?

The "s" signifies "more than one".

Hey while we are on the topic of "Humans Being", does anyone know if there ever was a full length video to this song, unlike that half-assed editted p.o.s. that was included on the Best Of, Video Collection?

I don't think there's a video for the version with the full guitar solo...
