This song still kicks ass after all these years. Some say it is outdated in style, but I say it is timeless!
I think I read somewhere that David Lee Roth himself said that the feel of this song is all about Friday Night.
Sure I know he got the lyrics from the idea that when someone is at the top of a building, someone else
wants to yell "JUMP"----But the FEEL of the song, is just pure happiness and fun! And that's what I'm
talking about here....

I was on holidays the first time I bought a Van Halen album. It was 1984 in 1984 and we were visiting my uncle who had this great stereo system. I'll never forget the sound of Jump coming out of the speakers right after the 1984 intro. Sounds as good to me everytime as it did then. Like BC said, it doesn't sound dated to me at all.
