Finish what ya started vs Can't stop loving you

Well here's an easy topic to get another post on. "Finish" I think is the closest were going to hear Ed play anything that resembles country music. Altough it doesn't sound anything like country the "chickin pickin" that he does, like in the solo, sounds a little like country style to me. As far as "lovin you" is a song that anoyes the hell out of me but is the only song that I could compare two similiar songs. What do you think? Peace!

I'm going to pick Can't Stop Lovin' You. FWYS has never been a favorite, and I like a sappy ballad now and then.

I heard Sammy in an interview say that in his live shows, he plays the original version of Finish What Ya Started - not the one that is on OU812.

i like finish what ya started better. the whole guitar part in the song is cool. can't stop lovin you is good, but gets annoying if you listen to it too much.

FWYS was never one of my favorite's either. Guess I'd have to go with CSLY on this one.

I dont care for the lead at the start of CSLY, it just sounds too fruity for me. Otherwise good song, just not as good as FWYS.

If they do any Sam-era songs on the next tour, I think Dave could do a kickass job on this. It's almost like it was written for him, not Sammy.

I like a lot of Sammy songs, but I Can't Stand Can't Stop Loving You. I was bummed when I heard that it was the first single, because I had listened to Balance beforehand and it was my least favorite song.
