Pleasure Dome-the song

God I love this song. Cool intro. Love the effects that pop up on Sammy's voice every now and then. Incredible guitar solo. The band really kicked some serious ass on this. I like how the lyrics go from Sam talking to pushing his range. Along with Mine all Mine and The Seventh Seal this might be one of VH's most underrated songs ever. What do you guys think?

I think it's pretty cool. Definitely a different kind of song they'd never done before. The solo is awesome, as is Sammy's singing.

Definatly one of the best songs from the FUCK album. One of Eddies prime moments. Too bad not many ppl talk about it or play it much.

Shit, Eddie just fucking smokes once again on this one. And God Damn, Al is not human on this song is he? LOL. Most people think that Hot For Teacher is the milestone to measure yourself against Alex. [img]smilies/rolleyes.gif[/img]. Try playing Pleasure Dome next time any of you guys are sitting behind a set. I think my drumming brothers will agree. I've got one word for this song. Burly! [img]smilies/biggrin.gif[/img] Out.

the music is good, but the lyrics suck ass.
i'm sort of indifferent towards the song, i don't listen to it much.

Fantastic intro, incredible riffs, smokin' solo. This could have easily been an instrumental -- as the boys proved live several times.

A great underrated tune.

The only thing that bugs me is, Sammy should've shut up a little earlier in the tune & just let the boys wail. There was just too much "Miles & Miles" towards the last 2 minutes of the song.....But other than that, what a great tune.

Being a drummer, I was happy to hear Alex's drums jacked up. In Pleasure Dome, they sound absolutely huge! I also liked the way the used this song to segway from Mike's bass solo into Alex's drum solo.

Yeah, I play guitar and some drums, and this song is simply beastly to try to play on either one. I mean, Al is hitting double bass at a steady pace for practically the entire song. Being a better guitar player, I can play the intro and verse, but don test me w/ the solos. Diamond performance! I also think the solo for "Feelin" is supreme too.
