what is the single greatest rift or solo or guitar part that eddie has done?

obviously the opening to "unchained", but beyond that...how about the solo in "light up the sky"!

what's yours?

hmmm....

Most underrated-Source of Infection Intro

Most Kickass (other than Unchained)-Runnin' With the Devil intro.

Most kickass solo-Too many good ones to say..My faves are "So THis is Love" "When it's Love" and "from Afar"

Solo that gives me the most trouble to play-Finish what ya started...DAMN that solo is annoying! Very cool though

Yes there are many great solos and riffs, Push Comes To Shove tops my list followed by So This Is Love. The opening for Mean Street is pretty bad ass too.

As far as rythm guitar is concerned, and Eddie doesn't get enough credit for his rythm playing, I always liked "Secrets" from Diver Down. I also think the solo from "Pleasure Dome" is smokin'. My favorite intro's are probably "Unchained" and "Source of Infection". Least favorite solo is "Summer Nights"
Everyday I break my previous record for consecutive days staying alive.

Not everyone's favorite album, but the solo from "year to the day" rocked.

The solo from 5150 on LWAN is by far Ed's most brilliant solo that I have ever heard.
But lets not forget "Beat It"
'Old Van Halen, when I was in it-classic Van Halen-makes you wanna drink, dance and screw, right? And the new Van Halen encourages you to drink milk, drive a Nissan and have a relationship.' - David Lee Roth.

Some much great riffage so hard to choose...

I'd have to say... for my ear... the solo in Don't Tell Me (What Love Can Do) gives me shivers!!

Take Your Wiskey Home has some great blues riffage in there...

The rhythum vibe in both Beautiful Girls and Drop Dead Legs is totally sick!!!!

I'd say that the most creative thing though that Ed ever wrote was the lyrics to Eruption which Dave still can't remember!!!
Woke up this mornin, got Blue Moon in your eyes...
