Ok, maybe this has been done, but I'm new here, so sorry.
When I first bought Women and Children First in 1987, it had Fair Warning on the other side (one of those "Two hit albums on one cassestte" type things). The final song on the album was "In Simple Rhyme," and what is now known as "Growth," was unlisted and faded away at the end. Now, every version of WACF has it listed as "In A Simple Rhyme," and has "Growth" listed after it, and it ends abruptly, instead of a fade-away. Why did they make these changes? Anyone?

Achievements:
And I thought I was the only one that noticed that. I vote for the abrupt ending.
The story goes that was supposed to be continued on the next album. It makes a good story, but who knows for sure.
Maybe somebody just fucked it up.

On the CD and I think on the record, 'Growth' ends abruptly. As for the tape, it's a fadeout. Why is it different, who knows?!

i've downloaded a bootleg of growth performed live (no idea what year) and it sounds pretty good. it was a cool idea to have a link between albums, shame it never came to light. on my copy of WACF (UK remastered 2000) it's listed as "In A Simple Rhyme" but there's no mention of "growth"
