I was surprised to see this in my local store, it's $24. Is it any good? Worth picking up?

Glenn I saw 5150 perform when they last came to Rochester NY. They mentioned that they were on this album.

I don't know if it is any good or not. But if I see it I am buying it!

5150 played "their" version of Unchained, when I saw them live. When I say "their" version I mean the version thaht they have on this album...

It is a more "grooving" slower tempo Unchained, but it still ROCKS...

I have not seen the album anywhere so if you see it, consider yourself fortunate and pick it up!

I've got that Tribute album Crossing Over. It's not bad, the songs are done very much like the originals in style. The thing that I get from listening to it is how the energy that VH brings to the songs doesn't really translate to these versions. It goes to show how unique and powerful VH was in the studio.

Well I bought the Runnin With The Devil tribute CD tonight. Funny thing is, it was there yesterday in HMV, two copies of it. I go there today and they're both gone, I nearly had a stroke I was so surprised. I thought I was the only VH fan in town. Anyway, the store down the mall had it, so I picked it up.

It's not bad, pretty straight up renditions of the songs. Unchained has a double bass thing going on underneath that doesn't really suit the song in my opinion. And I'll Wait is very guitar oriented as opposed to the keyboard driven VH version. Actually, the riffing in it sounds alot like Unchained to me. Anyway, it's okay, nothing earth shaking, but probably worth the 25 bucks for a VH addict like me.
