    I’m guessing you’re referring “no-load” tone pots:

They’re not stock in Wolfgang’s, but there are some Charvels and Fenders that come with them. Maybe some Jacksons too?

For those who have Strats I'd love to hear your stories about them. You like single coils or humbuckers? What about the trems? How about colors? Please feel free to brag about your babies!

I think a Strat is the most versatile guitar and perfectly designed. And perfect for modding if so inclined. I’ve got 5 in various configurations. I used to be strictly humbuckers, but been getting more into single coils. Of course it all depends on the amp. But for cleans you can’t match the sparkle of a single coil, and you can’t get some great dirty tones, and of course the neck position single coil is killer. For a bridge single coil as long as you have a tone control, you can do pretty much anything.

BJK, I love my Strats but my dream guitar is the Gibson Les Paul. I fell in love with it after seeing Ace Frehley when I was a kid. But I completely agree with your asessment. They are the best guitars I've ever played. My Strats are black and white but I decided to modify one with a mirror pickguard after seeing Glenn Tipton's back in the early 80s. His guitars were just so badass looking I had to copy him! I've kept my first one pretty much original with the single coils and basic tremelo. I call my mirrored one the Metallian in Glenn's honor since he gave me the inspiration.
