    Haha!

Let the record show: if you roger that fucker just right, it echoes across the cosmos like a Harley gargling gravel and truth. And what follows? Free beers, discarded panties, and the unmistakable sound of America shrugging off its shame for one brief, glorious moment of sonic dominance.

But...and this is key, my friend...you must tell them the name. No coyness. That’s how you end up back at the dive bar, hog-tied in the alley with three guys named Earl demanding menthols and stories from the war you never fought.

So speak it loud. Speak it proud.

I wasted all my time in the 70s in discos and rock clubs and never knew the bowling alley bar was the place to mingle ! What a drag .

EV, the bowling lounge was the best place to get away from the disco crap of the 70s.

I actually did better mingle wise in discos than rock clubs. And I have to disagree with you about being crap. The bass players were insane good like Bernard Edwards good. Most of the vocalists were above average. And lets not forget the drummers like Jeff Porcaro who laid down many disco tracks like Low Down by Boz Scaggs comes to mind.

EV, from 1974 to 1978 my world was ruled by KISS so I didn't really care about disco. My parents loved it, especially my mom. She had tons of disco albums and 8 tracks for her car. After Saturday Night Fever came out, it became her fave movie and album. I've since come to like some of it, like the Bee Gees, Donna Summer and KC and The Sunshine Band but my heart belongs to rock!
