It's only a matter of time before the whole league is doing it. Yankees aren't hiding them. Not sure if they got MLB approval however. Seems strange that they wouldn't. But, under the rule, "experimental" bats need approval--not sure if these torpedo bats fall under that. I would think they should.
More wood in the barrel is designed to increase barrel hits and decrease misses.
Yanks have an MIT physicist on payroll who came up with the concept. I'd rather they get someone in there who can help with their defense and pitching. LOL Sloppy game yesterday in those terms.
I don't think Judge was using one--according to reports.
