I've seen these Chibson Wolfs for a while but I'm just amazed at how off they normally look. The bodies often get pickup routes and knob placement wrong even though they may be around 90% accurate in general shape. But the headstocks always look like a second grader with a broken hand tried to draw them.

The Frank and this particular round of Wolfgangs look pretty close (even the headstock). What amazes me, is that it says made in the USA and has the Fender logo on the back.

Nah don't buy that Chinese garbage.... There's sooooo many EVH guitars all over reverb at low prices... Even if it was a great guitar, how could you possibly feel good about owning it... The poor souls who work in those horrible factories make like 10 cents a day and live like rats...

They make less than people here, but certainly not 10 cents a day. They dont work on weekends and do go on vacation. China's wages have grown a lot since the 90s. There are quite a few countries in Asia with lower wages than China. It's now considered a mid-level country in terms of wages.

My oldest brother has been in the guitar industry for over 40 years. He has taken numerous trips to China and been through the factories. He was there just before covid. He has told me absolute horror stories about the working/living conditions in the area's those factories are located. He said it's the most terrible life that I could ever imagine. The suicide nets are real. He and his business partner are happily married family men. Each time they go, there is always a knock at the door with someone offering them prostitutes. And he said most of them look underage and on some sort of drug. He decided to never go there again because he gets very depressed. His company has since moved their production to Taiwan, which is a completely different situation.

Back to the original topic - I don't want to support that shit. If someone in America can't comfortably afford a $500-$1000 electric guitar (street price for most EVH's), they have larger financial issues to worry about than some striped-up rip-off piece of crap.

Oh, please don't misunderstand, the only circumstance I'd ever get one of those is for the novelty of how bad it actually is. I don't have the disposable income to waste on a bad guitar and don't like the counterfeit market

It probably is a pic of an actual Fender Wolfie, what you see isn't always what you get.
