LA Project Meeting EVH 2018

This clip comes up a lot lately, especially around the anniversary of Eddie’s passing.

Here are some facts to answer questions and irritations.

It was not a concert it was a product evaluation meeting in the 5150 studio. In the room was EVH, Alex, and Matt from the EVH business, then Alden, Ted and Keith from Maxxsonics. John, the man holding the iPad was developing an Audio processor/algorithm that not only offered perfect sound quality but had NO latency. Who better to test that, than Eddie.

So yes, he’s playing some of his tried and true fast licks and quick tremolo techniques while also discussing in the room what they were hearing. Alex and Matt are talking in the background after a lifetime of hearing those licks. A little Led Zep for a bonus.

Sadly, the Maxxsonics MB Quart / EVH product never came to fruition due to Eddie’s passing. Maybe someday as a tribute huh?

The real rare find, are renderings of the product and working prototype- So cool.
