    Default Dave setlist feedback

As Dave gets geared up for shows what songs beyond the obvious VH must plays would you want to hear?

How interested in solo Dave or deep VH cuts?

Figured one central spot to solicit from hence the thread if faulty logic sure mods will close

    Shows in addition to M3?

I'm sure I'm in the minority, but maybe a cut from Skyscraper in addition to JLP. Maybe Knucklebones or Damn Good with a VH montage on the big screen. Al could run his electric guitar through a boss acoustic pedal... Little Guitars would be awesome too...Though probably not logistically possible. Def Yankee Rose.... Always liked the vibe on California Girls.

Any songs from his solo albums would be a treat... even just one... but it's going to be wall to wall VH.

Okay, I'm still waiting for our coffee date with Dave. I can meet you both at the coffee bar in Vroman's on Colorado Boulevard. Tell him I've got a business proposition for him that might salvage his tattoo salve venture.

Yankee Rose, She's My Machine, Sensible Shoes, Slam Dunk, Hina.

    All would be cool!

She's My Machine would be awesome since the late/legendary John Regan played bass on that, but to the average concert goer, they probably wouldn't know it... Hell last time i saw VH in 2015 - Most the people I was around in the grass only knew the songs off 84.

M3 is one thing - but if Dave is doing a run of solo dates - would def love to hear more DLR solo tunes.... ALAE, Slam Dunk, Hina....

VH Deep Cut: Push Comes to Shove

Dave solo: Ladies Night in Buffalo + Damn Good

They're both in a lower register so should not be hard to sing.

Dave could tell an amusing anecdote about the old days and slide right into "Damn Good".

Some dude made the perfect vid for this already...

Just cut the 1st 6 seconds and put this up...

Peter Frampton did something similar with "Lines on my Face" to honor John Regan...

Weird that he never played Hina. Might be difficult to recreate that chorus live.

Is there going to be more shows? I don't really fancy making the trip across the pond to catch Dave at a festival but was prepared to do it, if there's a strong possibility he'll do his own shows too, I'd hang fire for that!

The voice of Van Halen will no doubt fly that flag, but he was far more than that and has a back catalogue littered with great songs. I'd like the recent John 5 singles to get a bit of love, Somewhere Over the Rainbow Bar and Grill etc would be amazing - 867-5309/Jenny would be near the top of my wishlist however, DLR made that his own.
