I grew up around a lot of Bluegrass and finger pickers, but when I was young, I loved hard rock and the “hair band guitar dudes” but I always appreciated the musicianship and the energy of that music.

I saw Billy and his band accidentally during a rain storm at a festival in 2018 and they blew my head off .
His band is just as good as he is and they’ve been together the entire ride .

His live album last year won a Grammy, and I guess his newest one will probably win one next year The great thing about these types of groups is they come up with a very loyal fans who go to all their shows because every show is a different. They play 2 1/2 hours three hours different every night.

This one is great - it’s his stepdad who he considers his real dad and taught him guitar . From 2020 - you’ll notice that his dad is kind of calling the match
