Best Way to Shim a Neck

I tried the pick approach that Brett mentioned above. This seemed to work. I had to give the truss rod a tweak, but it worked pretty good.

Yeah, I usually have to adjust the truss rod just a little.

+1 for the business card. I cut them up like Jedi said and shim where I'm having trouble.

Also, the thickness of a single business card seems to go a long way (at least in my experience). It's kind of deceiving because when you open up the neck pocket and put a card in there it doesn't look like it's going to be enough to make much of a difference. But in my experience I usually need less thickness than I think I will to achieve what I'm after.
