Your Top Ten (or 20 or so) favorite songs - one track per artist

Here we go again,
so I have an idea, can you list your top ten (or 20 or so) favorite songs/tracks - the rule is one track per band/artist. BUT, if you choose e.g. two Blackmore songs (Rainbow and Deep Purple tracks) that's fine. I know its tough. Let me see something different

On a side note, does anyone know if you can name someone's favorite modes (Myxolydian, Harmonic minor, etc.) based on their favorite songs or is it completely pointless?

I love a good love song.

Sing Me Spanish Techno- The New Pornographers
Great harmonies and catchy as all hell.

Black- Pearl Jam
The best breakup song of all time. I know someday you will be a star, in somebody else’s sky. But why, why can’t it be mine.

Love Reign O’er Me- The Who
Townshend’s cathartic lyrics. Roger bringing the emotion. It’s bloody brilliant.

Surrender- Cheap Trick
This song is just so much fun.

Fight The Power -Public Enemy
Sadly, just as relevant as it was when they released it in 1990.

A Day In The Life- The Beatles
As a kid, this is the first song I remember loving. Still love it.

Bullet With Butterfly Wings- Smashing Pumpkins
Billy screaming about his rage. I feel it.

Neighborhood #3 (Power Out)- Arcade Fire
I saw them playing this in a bar on a stage about a foot higher than the floor and it was a religious experience. A few years later, I saw them headline Lollapalooza. Same experience. Only now with tens of thousands of people instead of 300.

B.O.B. -Bombs Over Baghdad- OutKast
All time great banger.

Begin the Begin- R.E.M.
Crank up the volume and sing along to whatever it is you think Stipe is mumbling.

Raspberry Beret- Prince
This is a perfect song.

My Morning Song- Black Crowes
Chris pleading. The back up singers. The band is on fire. Everything about it is just great.

If We Were Vampires- Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit
A love song that hits in the feels.

Gimme Shelter- Rolling Stones
When Merry Clayton is belting out “Rape, Murder”, it might be the single greatest moment in any rock song ever.

I’m sure five minutes from now, I’m going to kick myself for forgetting some great song. I love so many songs. I could do this all day long. Unfortunately, I’ve got stuff to do.
