Call to Dave and Alex: do something for Pasadena & Altadena!

Pasadena, and its neighboring suburb Altadena, have been hit really hard by the Eaton fire, with 5000 homes lost.
This fire was stopped only 2 or 3 blocks north of the Van Halens' childhood home on Las Lunas.
Some of the places where the VH brothers used to hang out growing up are no more. Refugees from the fire are now housed at the civic center where VH did their historic show on December 77.

With so much VH history tied to the current events, it would be great for VH or Dave solo to have some exclusive release from the vaults with all proceeds going to help Pasadena & Altadena families in need.

OK. Air quality is supposed to improve today, yesterday was really terrible. Schools are supposed to reopen Monday - kids are a bit restless staying home, it's like covid all over again.

LD keeps trying to get some music, but not even this will budge anything from the Van Halen world. But I applaud him for trying.

If only Dave or Alex read this board to note your call to action.

I do not know how much money any unreleased music would gather in 2025, but I think their day to day pocket money would probably help out fire victims more.

They may not read it. But others do. Word travels.

Actually this post was not a way to get new music, this area is devastated and it would be a good thing for VH to help. These are exceptional circumstances.

Because VH is well known for contributing to community causes?

Jamie Lee Curtis is donating $1 million to fire relief assistance. Lots of LA restaurants and hotels are offering freebies for evacuees.

Well, there's a first step to every journey. Maybe VH's well-known ego wars could this time be directed to a competition on who will donate more? Here's to hoping, the only thing we have left.

You’re far more likely to get charitable assistance from Sam and Mike then you are Dave and Alex. The Wabo boys do a fair amount of charity causes. Actually, I’ll be surprised if Sam doesn’t participate in a future concert fundraiser for rebuilding.
