Ibanez AZ Series Thoughts

I’ve always thought Ibanez makes good stuff but the necks are sometimes a little thinner than I like. But I like the looks if these. I thought it was cool how they kept the basic Ibanez headstock shape but softened it a little.

Haven’t seen one at a store near me so wondering if any of you guys have one or tried one and what you thought.

I just saw these on Guitar Word today, they look pretty cool. I will check them out at the local shops when they arrive.

I’m interested in the HH models, I don’t care for the HSS versions. That middle pickup always gets in the way of my pick.

Ibanez does make great guitars as evidenced by Steve Vai and Joe Satriani and these do look interesting. I have an Ibanez Prestige 7 string and I love it. I was inspired to get one by Dino Cazares from Fear Factory. It's perfect for the music I like to play, which is industrial metal. Provides the extra crunch soundscapes I crave!
