Mine is scheduled to show up today. I think even if it sounds the same after watching this unboxing video I'll just keep it anyway because it's really cool.

YR, yep! It's also my fave Dave vid. He really showed off his mountain climbing skills and it looks killer in HD. I give credit to anyone that can do stuff like that!

Yeah I am glad Dave captured his mountain climbing skills on the video, and don't forget the awesome Kung Fu jump spinning kick Dave does at the beginning!

VH1986 called this video "gay". He was obviously focusing on the wrong blonde (DLR) and brunette (SV) ...

Who is actually the bass player or second guitar guy in these videos. I don't recognize him (its certainly not Sheehan).

Is it Matt Bissonette, (Gregg's brother), who replaced Billy Sheehan as DLR's bass player in 1987?

Got the boxset I listened to a few tracks on each album. They sound a little better than the original CD's. It's not like it has mind blowing fidelity or a big difference like the Van Halen remasters but I am satisfied with this boxset and I recommend getting it.

The guy with the shades replaced Billy Sheehan in Dave's band. It was probably the store clerk that sold him a bottle of anything and a glazed donut... to go.

Gregg ran that band as music director. He added his brother Matt on bass to tour. He is a talented session player and like Gregg a deep musical foundation
