I know about the “smells” / when my dad died I got his Ovation guitar but didn’t open the case for several months . Got around to it and when I opened it there was a smell that just hit me like the most familiar smell from him and his house . Powerful mojo

I was given a beautiful Ovation acoustic guitar when I was a teen and it was phenomenal. But like a stupid idiot, I ended up selling it a few years later. God knows how much it would be worth today!
