I guess we didn't know Ed played slide guitar on the intro of this Dweezil song.

Dweezil was well regarded in VH circles, until he started charging for access to his VH-themed podcast.

Without clicking I'm assuming it has something to do with Eddie recording Dweezil and friends on that Space Cadet, I think Ed did the intro.

Why? The only times Dweezil has been mentioned on here that i have read is in a negative capacity so i was having a bit of a joke about it causing a stir, nothing more nothing less.

'VH circles' spreads far beyond this wee corner of the VH fandom.

As to why people speak negatively of him, I don't know. Maybe because he's a nepo baby? Maybe because his evolving style over the years married with the trends du jour and may have seemed insincere? Maybe because he tried to monetise his podcast? I genuinely don't know. What I do know is that his love for VH was genuine, he nailed the EVH sound, and is a very adept guitarist. His solo to the ridiculously infectious Gotta Get To You is really good, inventive, has Ed's fingerprints all over it, and was one I just had to figure out and play.

He is a great guitar player no doubt.

Such a great song. Actually I still enjoy the album. I wonder who produced it? Who sang backup vocals on the track? Now that will cause a stir......
