Once Notre Dame get their O-Line figured out, they will be tough to play, but I think they are limited by their QB.
He had a great game last year on a prime-time game and in my humble opinion got himself overrated. He isn't that good.If I don't respond to you it means I have you on ignore, which means you are a douchenozzle.

College Football 2024-25
Michigan has only beaten USC once since 1958 so hopefully good luck continues. I was so excited to be there for that loss by the way (not). It was in the 1989 Rose Bowl, 22-14. Lol.
They’ve only met outside of the Rose Bowl a couple times in their histories and not in almost 70 years.Webmaster

Never rooted for Michigan Woody Hayes was my guy back in the day. He was a character even before the punch out in the Gator bowl? I would have loved to play for him. Can you imagine telling people in your old age Woody grabbed your face mask and cussed you out. He would stop practice and ask the guys what your assignment is on that play and Lord help you if you didn't know and you never knew when it would happen.

Rodney Peete at QB? I feel like he finished 2nd to Barry Sanders in the Heisman voting that year. Perhaps it was 3rd, and Aikman was 2nd. What a draft that was. The beginning of the rebirth for the Lions, the Cowboys, the Falcons. Aikman, Sanders, Deion Sanders, Derrick Thomas….I’m sure there are others I’m missing. Seems like there was a killer Safety in there as well. Atwater, maybe? The Lions drafted Rodney Peete that year as well. Oddly enough, Detroit Tigers ALSO drafted him to play 3rd base.
As a Michigan State fan, I’ll be pulling for USC on Saturday.

Yeah, Rodney Peete did finish 2nd in the Heisman voting to Barry Sanders in 1988. He actually had a chance to win the Heisman, until they got whacked by Notre Dame in L.A. in the last game of the regular season. Notre Dame and USC were ranked #1 and #2 going into that game.

College Football 2024-25
I was at both the Notre Dame game and the Rose Bowl. So I saw the only two losses USC had that year. Lovely lovely. Haha. The Notre Dame game was disappointing because they just played so poorly.
That was the year before my freshman year at USC. I did go to the Rose Bowl in 1990 as a freshman and they won.
I actually was at three straight Rose Bowls. I saw them lose to Michigan State in ‘88 (congrats Majestic), Michigan in ‘89, and finally beat Michigan in 90. I’m pretty sure that is the last time USC has lost the Rose Bowl besides the historic ‘06 game against Texas.
