I filmed 95% of the show in 1920 x 1080 in Phoenix last night from the 9th row. I would have gotten the entire show, but I had to rest my arms a couple times, plus there were some bobbing heads in front of me for part of the show, and with the guys onstage running right and left, it was hard to keep anyone in the frame for more than ten seconds. So I have about 80% of the show in really good quality. I also recorded audio in 48/24 and it sounds very good. I'd like to put together a multicam video. With some additional footage it'll be really good, so if anyone was at the show and got some video (good, so-so, shaky, whatever), I'd be interested in getting a copy of your files. I'll be checking Youtube and Facebook, but original files are preferred for best resolution. Here are a couple of screenshots from my video. Thanks!

I did find one video that had the entire show, but man finding anything else from this date is near impossible. So at least somebody recorded the whole thing.

Well just got back from three glorious days in the Valley of the Sun. My friend Jimmy and I made the six hour trip to see Sammy & Co. and it was a blast! My babe wasn't interested so she missed out. My friend Ralph in Scottsdale let us crash at his pad the entire time so no need for any fleabag motels. The concert was simply awesome. We had great seats right in front of Joe so we got to see him do his magic the whole night. Sam sounded pretty good, other than a couple of little hiccups here and there. Highlights were Poundcake, Summer Nights and Satch Boogie. Low point was Right Now. It was played ok but it definitely brought the energy down among the crowd. But once Mas Tequila started, the Red Menace took over! I still wish they had played some Zep but I guess we can't always get what we want. I just hope Sammy has the good sense to film and release something from this tour!

It sounds like you had a great time LI! I agree we badly need a blu ray of this tour! It would be a CRIME if we do not get one! Audience recordings from a cell phone don't cut it for me. I need pro shot HD video!

YR, that I did! I had a chance to take some shrooms before the show but wisely chose not to. Just some tasty buds and cold brews to enjoy the concert! All that day we jammed Pantera since it would have been Dime's 58th birthday that day as well. It really was symbolic knowing that he's forever at rest with the legendary Bumblebee!

I love this song too, but it just didn’t work great. And then you followed it up with Right Now, which is missing all of Ed’s nuances that made it better live, and it was just a slow part of the show.

At our show, I thought Eagles Fly was one of the best songs they played that night. People really were into it and it was really powerful. So that and WCTBL actually picked it up right after. And of course I’m not a fan of WCTBL, but I know people love it.
