Right behind ya, only a couple hundred more posts to go lol
We're both taking the day off specifically not to have to deal with the bullshit traffic getting there after work.
Leaving Haverhill around 1230-1, it'll take about an hour and 20 to get Mansfield with minimal traffic.
Gonna grab a burger and a beer that won't cost $30 somewhere locally before the parking lot opens, which I believe is at 4.
Gates at 530, Loverboy on at 7 & I assume Sammy will be somewhere in the neighborhood of 830 to 1030?

My thoughts on the setlist so far is first 75% is excellent. The last 25% is a letdown. I know it is "all worlds", but going to Sammy solo for 5 of the last 6 songs is a bad mix. I am fine mixing them in throughout the set, but it is an easy excuse to beat the Great Woods traffic. Need a better closer than When Its Love. I am still fired up from the Rockin' in the Free World encore cover from the '93 RHRN Live tour. Can't wait to hear Summer Nights live for the first time in person (bucket list). Also appreciate the love they are giving to 5150.

Gary is not currently on tour. Could see him and Nuno making an appearance in Mansfield. Also Wolf plays the night before in Cincinnati but doesn't play again until August 2nd at Gillette opening for Metallica. Maybe be an opening there for him to appear.

TOMORROW, FRIENDOS.

I believe the game plan is Mrs. Van Bundy and I will be leaving home around 1PM. Have to make a pit stop in Rockland and then we will be in Mansfield around 3 or so, as long as traffic isn't a perpetual ballbag. We're probably going to have some light fare and a beer or two at Flynn's Irish Pub down the street before heading over. Personally couldn't care less about Loverboy, so we may just tailgate in the parking lot until it's time for the main event.

Styx is touring with Foreigner and John Waite and REO Speed Dealer....er...Wagon is touring with fucking Train of all bands this summer.

Yeah, I'm slightly bummed there isn't a higher octane opener. Uncle Ted would've been great, but he's done with full fledged touring, only doing the occasional fly-in these days. Night Ranger would've been spectacular.

NR is a good band, but would get the same reaction as LB from Sam Halen fans. It's all a wash unless Deep Purple 2024 opens.
