I knew Mike didn't do the bass, but had no idea about the drums.

Not this idiot again. Didnít this guy just speak to somebody a few months ago and say the same stupid shit?

Is this a new interview of him saying the same shit again or someone just rehashing that old article?

Tired of hearing about VHIII. Who was slated to produce Love Again? I forget. Would much rather hear more about the 1999 sessions.

Exactly who the fuck cares about Van Halen III? Most of us like to forget it exists. You know like the band does.

I think the Al not playing thing is interesting. Really speaks to how Mike and Gary are pretty tight-lipped.

You see how loyal Al is/was to Ed. Wont ever play again. Ed says fuck it. "I'll play drums"

Ed never reciprocated. He jammed with everybody. Why was Al that way and Ed wasn't?

Did you even listen to their new album Six? it's some of their best work as a band yet. I know for some of you around here anything VH3/Extreme related time to spray verbal raid on it I guess. They have a song if you don't like what you see here Get The Funk Out.

Is it 100% fact that Alex did not play drums on any of the VH3 tracks? We know he played them live.

If so this should have been called The Eddie Van Halen project instead of Van Halen.

III has it's moments but it's the production that sucks on it and I wonder why, Mike cough Post.

All this does is make me badly want to hear those recorded tracks for the sessions for Love Again their unreleased followup album. To hear them in the studio as a complete band.

Anyway anyone that blames Gary for VH3 not being very good respectfully shut the fuck up please.

The band was not in a good place at the time. Ed was sober for a little while. When Sam joined the band was in a better place and it showed with the music.

So looking at the wikipedia page for VH3 it says that Ed played drums on tracks 1 and 10. Mike played bass on tracks 2,3 and 7.

So yes this should have been called The Eddie Van Halen project.

We did not even get one single song on the album where the band all played together. Even on Ballot Or The Bullet it was Ed on bass.

So yes this should have been called The Eddie Van Halen project.
Thatís not what it says for the drums at all. Itís just lists Edís credits with drums. It doesnít say what tracks he played on.
