I remember those WB documents. Iím sure I copied them as well but I took a peek and realized itíd take a while to find them. So I did a quick google and found the original version of the scans.

In The Midnight Hour is not listed.

I think the original source who first shared those scans was Scotty G. Here is the link to the post from Scotty G @ VH Trading showing his 1984 WB Studio Documents. Thank You Scotty.

I wonder what "5150 Special" sounded like.

On that list it's clear they recorded 2 additional tunes. Did they mix them - we don't know. So there are two additional tracks from 1984 in the archives.

Listening to that record it always felt there was 2 parts to that record, not saying dave had any part in the record at any stage but it sure sounded like Edx had riffs of ideas suited to Dave that dave may or mayn't have had scat lyrics to and another part of that record that was very to what the Van Halen sound machine went on to sound like with Sammy ... either way love the record it just always sounded to me like 2 parts of a record, maybe not equal but 2 parts ... 5150 for an example may of been a early idea with roth in the bad and summer nights a later idea when Sammy was in the band ...

Thanks for the post, man! Kudos!

I'm pretty sure we had at least 03 of those archives posted over at the CVH.com forum circa 2008/2010.

I remember myself saving 02 of them (1st and 2nd ones from the link).

Anyway, many thanks to Voodoo and to Scotty G!!
