Default EVH Floyd B String Dead

My B string on my EVH Floyd sounds dead. Mostly a thud when I play the B String, even when fretted. Thinking I need to replace the saddle, but wanted to post here and see what you guys think.

Replacement of the saddle seems like the most likely solution to the issue, but wasn’t sure if the genuine German Made Floyd Rose saddles would fit exactly on the EVH Floyd Rose. Anyone done this in the past?

    All feedback is welcome here.

    Thanks!

It could be a saddle, but it also could be a fret issue as well.

It’s not the frets, I just swapped the tremolo out (from black to chrome), and there was no issue with the B string with the old tremolo. I have a Stealth Wolfgang Special and swapped out the black hardware to chrome.

I guess it could be the nut, but I didn’t have any issues until I swapped out the trem.

It was the nut, I shimmed it and now the B String is fine.
