    Total trash in the playoffs.
It sucks but injuries are a part of the game. Sorry to hear how poorly your team is doing this ye...wait, Dodgers have the 2nd best record in MLB!

Look on the bright side, you'll get more run support next year when Soto is on your roster.

Yamamoto just returned from a long injury absence. Glasnow and May likely done for the year. Kershaw, Stone and possibly Gonsolin set to return. Buehler has been awful since his return from major surgery. Even Flaherty couldn't pitch for Jack last night in Atlanta.

Padres just 3.5 back , I don’t see how they can hold them off much longer.

No way their pitching can get them thru the playoffs with the extra round. No chance

Scoring a TD in the 9th on a Sunday. How fitting and on my birthday!

I always say that you can never really have enough pitching. Yeah, LA is in a bind. It's a good thing they went out and got Flaherty when they did.

Did you happen to watch the game last night? They had Mookie mic'd up and he was talking about bowling a little bit. He mentioned this guy Brett who he really looks up to. LOL
I always like when they mic up a player and interview him during the game, so I'm glad I caught that. Some people don't like that, but for entertainment value I do.

Mookie looks up to Brett because he is 5' 9" and Brett is 6'.

I'm not a fan of having players mic'd up for a game. Doesn't do anything for me.

The mic’d up shit is stupid and the Dodgers have had a couple guys make errors. It’s completely unnecessary. Let them play the game and leave them alone. I don’t care if they’re just standing out there doing nothing. They need to fucking pay attention.

I completely agree. I'm just saying selfishly for me sitting at home I don't mind hearing from a player for a half inning. I'm surprised at how unpopular it is with fans. A couple of my buddies said the same thing as you guys.

I wouldn't want my players doing it if I was the manager. At least Mookie kept checking in with the dugout and following their instructions when asked to reposition himself.

With a guy like Mookie it’s probably OK because he’s a really smart player and doesn’t lose focus. But some of these guys do.

But this is the only sport where they’re bothering a player when he’s actually playing. Can you imagine trying to talk to a football player during a game? Or a basketball player? I realize baseball is a slower sport and you can do it, but it does require you to be concentrating and focused.

Honestly, I don't know why teams allow it to happen. Especially when it's an infielder--that's a little more concerning.
The All-Star game is really the only time it should happen.

It would make more sense if they spoke to a player in the dugout, a pitcher who's not pitching that day, for example.
