Just watched his first major league at bat. A strikeout.

    Now he can settle down.

He played high school ball against an old co workers son. He said the kid was legit then. If he stays healthy, and stays away from the knucklehead shit, he's going to be a good one. There is talk that his younger brother Ethan is better than he was at the same age.

Championships aren't won in April, but in the case of the Royals in past years...they can be lost.

    Keep grinding.

This month is the month that the king broke babe Ruthís home run record 50 years ago. As baseball kicks off its full first month of games, letís take a minute to remember the true home run king, Henry Louis Aaron.

All these comments remind me of a Home Improvement episode where Tim calls his son Randy... Honus, after a baseball card! Just how famous was the real Honus Wagner, other than his funny name?

Angel "Mr. Magoo" Hernandez behind the plate. The 2 pitches before that one were in the exact same spot. Are umpires not allowed to be fired?

How the batter didn’t go mental on Hernandez, I don’t know. Maybe it’s just expected that he’s going to be awful behind the plate.

Yeah, of all the changes baseball has made, the majority of which are for the worse, the one I wish they would make, they haven't. I just don't understand why all four umpires have to take a turn behind home plate. I get that it's tough and you 162 games back there would be too much for one umpire to do each season, but take the at least the best 30 at calling balls and strikes and alternate them day by day - if you have more than 30 that have a high accuracy percent behind the plate, work them into the rotation as well. But the guys that can't get it right, let them work the bases solely - keep them from behind the plate.

You start in the minors and they grade your accuracy - you get called up, you need to maintain that accuracy. If you sucked but you think you don't suck anymore, go to the minors and prove it - get your scores up, you come up and are available to work the plate.

Pittsburgh and Milwaukee both got better records than Dodgers.

Miller hurt, Bueller hurt more. Yamamoto is a bust.

    Not looking good
