Hot Diggity - That's pretty neat. I clicked a few titles but the page said it was unavailable or under construction .

It would be a good idea for someone to copy & paste EVERYTHING from the Old VH website on that Wayback Archive machine page you linked. It would be good to have ALL the info posted here for easy access & historic trivia fun facts.

If someone had (for no good reason) taken the band into a studio around '76 or '77 and just record them on the floor (multi-track) doing maybe 30 or 40 of their covers, it could have been one of the greatest cover albums ever released. I know...there was NO commercial reason for this. And I'm very glad we have the ZERO demos and the '77 Warners demos of ORIGINAL material.

But there are VH versions of songs like GET DOWN TONIGHT, THE ROVER and Bad Company's ROCK STEADY that are really awesome. Imagine having all those in studio quality!

(I could be wrong, but I think they even did a version of Zeppelin's HOTS ON FOR NOWHERE, one of my favorite songs from PRESENCE.)

Allegedly recorded for DIVER DOWN (and 1984) but never released. Though, neither of these were in the 2/3 of the box set that leaked last fall.

They did Born on the Bayou with Sammy and it was awesome. Sammy's voice worked perfectly for this tune.

Recency bias, but I really liked their cover of Magic Bus during the Romeo Delight breakdown on the 2007/08 tour.

Maybe Alex will try to capitalize on his new book by releasing some of this. That would be really smart.

But he won't. We're talkin' VH here. They had their chance to make millions on these videos.
    Right here I say....
