was ready to watch the Busch Clash tonight, only to find out it ran last night. Missed that they were moving it but it wouldn't have mattered as was traveling last night.

I accidentally stumbled upon that they were having the race a day earlier. Did you catch the rerun on FS1 yesterday? It was a decent race!

no - kept thinking i should check and see if they were re-showing it but i guess i didn't really want to watch the driver whose sponsor should be sponsored by Massengill win, even if it was a non-points race

Not looking good - high percentage of rain possibility all day tomorrow. They already pushed the Xfinity race to Monday, wonder how early they’ll make the call tomorrow. NASCAR really should’ve scheduled next week off as a contingency. I just hope when it does run it gets a window where it can run non stop. Hate when they start and run 40 laps and the have to sit for hours in a holding pattern while it rains. Just sucks ‘cause you wait a couple of months for this and then we don’t get Bill France weather. Hate it for the people who bought tickets (and it’s a sellout), hate it for the drivers, hate it for NASCAR but nothing any of us can do.

Hopefully it's not delayed like it was in 2012 (total of 3 days.) The Nascar races that I've been to, 2/3rds of them have been rain delayed. I've seen more track dryers than racing! It was, to me, a waste of money since I couldn't go back on Monday to see the race. No refund, nothing.

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (AP) — NASCAR teams have hired one of the country’s top antitrust and sports lawyers to advise them in their ongoing dispute with the family-owned stock car series over a new revenue-sharing model.

The decision to hire Jeffrey Kessler, partner and co-executive chair of Winston & Strawn LLP, followed a Saturday meeting at Daytona International Speedway that included the majority owner from each of the 15 chartered teams in NASCAR. Although the teams invited NASCAR representatives to attend, none did.

Kessler’s hiring was revealed to The Associated Press on Sunday, the eve of the rain-postponed Daytona 500, by the five members of the team ownership negotiating committee. It comes amid a breakdown in negotiations between teams and NASCAR that led the 36 chartered teams to decline last month to extend their exclusive negotiating window with the sanctioning body on the existing deal.

The current charter agreement expires at the end of this season, and two years of talks were stalled by NASCAR’s ongoing negotiations on a new $7.7 billion television rights deal announced in early December. NASCAR’s economic offer to the teams came shortly after but with zero room for the teams to counter.
