The only pretty concrete info I've seen is that Wolf and Uncle Pat confirmed the SA-126 is coming this year and they'll be Made in Mexico. One of the models Wolf played on this recent tour was a production guitar, which I assume was the purple quilt.

Plausible releases would be an expansion of the MIJ lineup and the hardtail 5150 Deluxe.

I would not expect the Wolfgang bass yet, it seems Wolf and Chip focused their development on the SA-126 and have now turned their attention back to the bass.

Hearing that they'd be MIM makes me hope they'd be affordable, so maybe pricing in line with the Wolfgang Special at $1200/1299?
I would be very interested at that price.

I’d like to see the Wolfgang Bass this year, not sure why the EVH Brand is taking so long to offer a Bass Guitar. I’d also like to see some of the Striped Frankie type basses Wolfe played on Tour with Van Halen. Those were cool.

I just can’t get excited about the SA-126, that guitar is not as appealing visually to me as other EVH Guitars in the line. It looks kind of awkward, and I can’t see myself ever getting one.

Considering EVH Gear just lowered the price of some of the Frankies and Iconic series* I'm hoping the SA-126 and priced reasonably. On the other hand I'm also hoping they've got stainless frets, but I don't think I've seen anything with stainless frets come out of Ensenada.

*According to Sweetwater the Frankie Relics are down to $1499 from $1699, '78 Eruption down to $1599 from $1899, and the Iconic 2x12 Combos are down to $1099 from $1399

Fender has been adjusting prices on alot. There's been too much of "we can just charge whatever we want" from the big dogs. Ed's been gone awhile now... The super fans can only afford so many guitars, and amps etc. Fender oversaturated the market with like 5 different versions of everything and confused the consumer (not talking about just EVH). Hence the clearinghouse's on Reverb with hundreds of Fender "Used-Mint" guitars being sold at major discounts..

I personally am done with it. I'm not paying "new" prices for anything anymore.

Nope.. Floyds and stripes. They seem to be coming back to the same customer base to buy the same guitars in different colors schemes. I thought they would branch out more. But it's weird with Fender because they don't want to cut into Jackson sales, Charvel sales, Fender sales...
