VHLinks Server Drive for 2024-2025 - Donate Now Through 12/31/23!

Hi all,

So after getting all the positive vibes to keep the site going earlier this month, we're going to solider on, but we need your help to continue. Yep it's the VHLinks Server Drive! But hey it only happens once every TWO years now, it's not a early thing anymore. And we don't have to worry about this again until 2025. Wow that sounds crazy to say. By then if we're still here, the site will have been around for more than 25 years!

As you may remember, we made the move to a much cheaper service plan with our web host back in 2022. That still remains. That cost for us to cover TWO years of service is $3,000...so that is our goal until the end of the year. It is exactly the same as it was the last time we did this server drive in 2022. Remember the server used to be $4,000 for ONE year. So the costs have cut dramatically.

As usual we will use GoFundMe as a source for the donating. I have created a new fundraising drive on there for 2024-2025, and have deleted the old one. So please use all the new links in this thread to get to the new fundraiser. I've also updated the "VHL Donate" button at the top so that it forwards to the correct GoFundMe page.

However! In addition to GoFundMe, if you would like to donate using Venmo, you can also do that. My Venmo account is @ban5150. And honestly I almost prefer the Venmo route because they don't take fees. Of course it doesn't track the donations like GoFundMe does, but I can do that manually here anyway. So it's up to you which you would like to do. Either way is fine! You can also send me a note and I will give you my address if you're like 100 years old and still send checks.

After you donate make sure you either send me a private message, or just make a post in this thread letting me know you have donated, so I can update your account. Unless you use Venmo, then I think you can send me a note with who you are on here if you want. You must donate at least $50 to get the Premium Membership, but ALL contributions are appreciated! Also, remember you're donating that $50 for TWO years, not just one, like the old days,

The national association for the advancement of midgets is a very worthwhile cause.
