Oh, I just think it’s part of it. SC’s defense sucks, but the fact they score so fast doesn’t help.

Oregon has a great offense that scores fast, and they didn’t give up 41 fucking points to Colorado.

The other thing I will say, is the homefield advantage helped Colorado. It’s easier to come back when you’ve got the home crowd behind you and the other team makes a mistake. You get fired up, and a racous crowd can rattle even good teams. Harder to do that when you’re getting pummeled on the road.

Also, the altitude likely helped Colorado. Their players are used to competing at 5,430 feet above sea level. I'm almost out of breath just thinking about that.

Yeah, I thought about that too.

Whatever it’s a win. It’s better than a fucking loss like they did last year in game five against Utah, when they gave that game away with a million points. Not going to dwell on this game that much.

But the defense has got to play better with the schedule they have coming up.

A win is a win, especially in College Football.

Yep. There something like 125 teams in Division 1 College Football and at the end of the season there is typically only 1 undefeated team. Sometimes none. Back in 2007, LSU won the BCS Championship with 2 losses.

USC actually moved up from #8 to #7 in the latest poll ...
