    I think those Hawkins tribute are tribute to fallen rockers, since a lot are dying these days. It's more of a symbolic thing. I mean they're playing stuff like "My Hero" that Hawkins didn't even play on.

    Would be like playing "Panama" to pay tribute to Sammy.

    It just makes more sense to organize the tributes around Dave Grohl, who knows everyone and is friends with everyone, than with people who have negative energy and are holding grudges.

    He is a Van Halen. Van Halens have said a lot of things that may or may not have happened. Not saying he is lying but the apple doesn't fall too far from the tree with him on other personality traits
