Went to the movies with the family last night, and all we saw was Trump yard sign after Trump yard sign, and he is going to get his ass kicked in Virginia. The suburbs closer to DC, Richmond, and the Tidewater area is where all the population is, and they will vote for Kamala in droves.

I mean even here in Cali, there are areas that are hardcore trump. They just represent a tiny part of the state, overall.

Oddly enough I was in Montana last month, which is supposed to be hardcore Trump country. In the 4 days that we were there I saw one Trump hat and one guy with a Trump sticker on his truck...surprising to me.

Saw my first (only) Harris/Walz sign. It was a smaller sized sign in someone's front yard...on a dead-end street. Really, what's the point?

I've seen a few Trump flags, signs in yards. In this day and age, I don't see the interest in publicizing your political beliefs. Seems to be a good way to get some damage to your property. On either side.

My state typically goes Dem, so not sure what the point is of advertising here.

My HOA doesn't allow political signs, but I don't see any signs for anyone anywhere. Did go to the beach couple weeks ago saw the usual Trump and the accompanying Rebel flag many times

Ohio Sheriff Asks Residents to Track Homes With Harris Lawn Signs, Calls Immigrants 'Locusts'

Republican Portage County, Ohio Sheriff Bruce Zuchowski posted an alarming message on Facebook over the weekend, calling on constituents to identify the homes of Kamala Harris supporters by lawn signs so they can be made to house immigrants, whom he called "locusts."

"When people ask me...What's gonna happen if the Flip - Flopping, Laughing Hyena Wins??" Zuchowski wrote.

"I say...write down all the addresses of the people who had her signs in their yards! Sooo...when the Illegal human "Locust" (which she supports!) Need places to live...We'll already have the addresses of the their New families...who supported their arrival!"

The post, which also features images of Fox News hosts' reports on immigration, was met with widespread backlash and alarm in the community. Zuchowski shut off comments on the post, but it is still up as of this writing.

According to the local newspaper The Portager, at least two comments were left by residents saying they would be tracking down the homes of Harris supporters. One replied with the name and street of a person they said was a Harris supporter and said, "I'll add that name to the list." Another said, "Making a list and checking it twice."


In response to the post, Portage County Commissioner Tony Badalamenti annouced his resignation. "This is not the leadership I want to be part of,” Badalamenti said a video post.

"[Zuchowski] posted that we should all copy down the addresses of the people that display political signs which are different from our beliefs," Badalamenti said. "It scares people. It’s called bullying, from the highest law enforcement official in Portage County."

The Portager reported that several residents contacted the paper saying they were frightened by the post and the response. "I have a sign in my yard. Our sheriff is asking MAGA to write down our addresses. This is not normal and it is scary," one person said.

Zuchowski is running for re-election in November.

If globalism wins in November (because that's what a Harris win means), then there is no longer a point in voting. At that point, I'm checking out of voting no matter who runs in 2028. There is no longer a point in being invested in the whole ordeal.
