I think he wanted the "Trump killed the bill" thing to be the sticking point. The problem is that we've already heard that over and over. But, "they should have been vetted" is something Dems hadnt mentioned. So, yeah.... lol

That Clinton video starts there for a reason. Here is the full context of what Clinton says right before the Trump War Room video starts:

"And on the immigration thing, she’s the only candidate who’s actually endorsed a bill that would hold down immigration in any given year to a certain point and then make sure we gave people a decent place to live--we didn’t divide people from their children. And we did total vetting before people got in.

Now, Trump killed the bill. The bill was written--being written--by senior Republicans in the Senate and he killed the bill. Why?"

Then he goes on to talk about the Laken Riley case and how proper vetting could have prevented it. What I don't get about this is that landing punches on Biden and Harris regarding the border is pretty easy. So why do this? He was probably better off not even using this as an example, however.

Anew poll reveals Kamala Harris has similar support from Black voters as Joe Biden did in 2020, contradicting previous claims that she was losing their support to Donald Trump.

The poll was conducted by YouGov for CBS News between October 8 and October 11. It found that 87 percent of Black likely voters would vote for Harris and 12 percent would vote for Trump.

YouGov's exit poll from 2020 found exactly the same party breakdown, with 87 percent of Black voters having said they voted for Biden, and 12 percent said they voted for Trump.

The results show a slight change from a New York Times/Sienna College poll published last week, which found Harris's support among black voters at 78 percent, and Trump's support at 15 percent.

The Black vote always does this

That would still be down 5% over what Biden got.. if that's where it ends up.

However, the aggregate of polls matter more than an individual poll.
