See, the thing is that we don't actually know this.

What's actually true is that, on one hand, we have the statements/jokes that we know are real. Multiple times on multiple occasions, Trump has made sexual comments about his daughter, including that, if she weren't his daughter, he'd try to fuck her.

On the other hand, we have the private, inner thoughts of an addict exploring the origins of her addictions. And one thing she listed, "Showers with my dad (probably not appropriate)."

However, we also know that Ashley Biden has spoken out about the diary leak, in a letter to the court for sentencing purposes.

"The point of the theft, I assume, was to be able to peddle grotesque lies by distorting my stream-of-consciousness thoughts…

…Repeatedly, I hear others grossly misinterpret my once-private writings and lob false accusations that defame my character and those of the people I love."

We have no idea if these showers actually happened. (I have a memory as a kid of a guy trying to break into my parents' car to kidnap me. They say it never happened.) If they did, probably inappropriate also means they could very easily have been appropriate. Further, what does she consider to be inappropriate? Is it what a reasonable person would consider inappropriate? Could it be a false memory? The desperate ramblings of an addict? We don't know! But she says it's been misconstrued.

If Biden had showers with his daughter that had some sort of sexual element, that's abhorrent. But you've got to make a lot of assumptions to jump straight to "that's what happened."

What bothers me about a lot of stuff right now is priorities. How words have alot of times become more important than actions. Saying something mean or iffy is now a bigger problem than actions.

Not saying all Trump's actions have been good.

I mean, I get it to some extent. We have been conditioned to buy into this idea that faux decorum is somehow good or noble as it relates to politics and such.

I'm not saying that outright mudslinging in politics is preferable, but these politicians are boozing it up, on drugs and everything else when they aren't putting on their show for TV.

I guess I'm just done with the fake way politics has been played for decades.

It is strange. I think there are better ways to articulate that your daughter is a beautiful woman than to put it the way Trump has.

But I've also seen the video of Biden making girls uncomfortable with his behavior and sniffing. You can just watch the body language and tell these girls are Creeped out.

I think the implications are clear. Actual quotes he put into public:

"Yeah, she’s really something, and what a beauty, that one. If I weren’t happily married and, ya know, her father…”

"She does have a very nice figure. I’ve said that if Ivanka weren’t my daughter, perhaps I’d be dating her.”

"You know who’s one of the great beauties of the world, according to everybody? And I helped create her. Ivanka. My daughter, Ivanka. She’s 6 feet tall, she’s got the best body.”

(He's alleged to have said much worse in private, with explicit talk, before he was president, to his employees about her body parts and what it might be like to have sex with her.)

Clearly he's implying in these "jokes" that, if he weren't related, he'd be trying to bang her.

Kamala is a vice president. Trump was and probably will be again. So he already won.
