Lamars first two years where lights out. Never saw a pro QB run like that since Vick pre jail. Then they stopped running him on purpose . And his value crashed. The irony is he's probably the one who asked for less carries and more passes. He bet on himself and lost.

Can you imagine a doctor today saying "have him go outside, get some exercise and work his way through polio"?

Had no idea he played with the Lakers and that he was the first hardship case in NBA history, first NFL free agent. No idea he played in the CFL, all of it.

I knew he played football for Paul Brown at Great Lakes Naval Station ,Philly , and then the CFL. No idea about the NBA. Imagine telling your guys no heated benches in todays game? The NFLPA would go on strike.

So this podunk area of Indiana where I am currently at has produced at least three NFL players - Jay Cutler, Ken Dilger and Bruce King, the last of whom was only in the NFL for about six minutes, but still…. How many NFL players did my podunk town in Maine ever produce? Or, hell, even the state of Maine period!
