VH Inc doesn't care "that much" about releasing physical product into a 2023 market.
Their Publishing is WORTH 500-1000 times more than any moderate profit that a manufactured boxset would generate.
PLUS, their Performance Royalties are worth 25 times these physical profits EVERY YEAR.
Not saying they won't release, especially WB Records direct because they still own many of these Masters, but it's not a financial priority for VH INC.
They are making a fortune in Publishing and Royalties already... they don't need cashflow.
-------
BTW, Interscope do NOT OWN Tokyo and ADKOT... VH Inc does.

Achievements:
Around mid-late 2000, Warner Bros was pushing for a comprehensive box set that would have included a lot of unreleased music and live tracks. This would have coincided with the Roth reunion and probably would have included a few of the new songs they were working on at the time. Obviously, that fell apart when lawyers couldn't hash out terms between Roth and VH and then Ed getting his cancer diagnosis. This was probably the closest VH ever came to doing an archival release to this day.

In hindsight, I don't blame WB for dropping VH. They have to be frustrating as all hell to deal with.
If I don't respond to you it means I have you on ignore, which means you are a douchenozzle.

David Lee Roth did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it!
