I don't think they're going to do RHRN. That would probably be a 4 vinyl set and would be too expensive for anybody remotely interested in it, but I could be wrong!

I personally don't see the point in remastering a live album that isn't live.

But hey, they can do what they want.

I know it's Sammy and all, but it would seem like a really odd and specific thing to make up if it weren't true. And he talks a LOT so he's had lots of opportunities over the years to make something up like that, lol.

Granted, it's still VH so we do know what we're dealing with in that regard.

I think Sam could be exaggerating. Maybe he had a phone call with Azoff or someone and they said "hey, Al is thinking of doing remasters of the Hagar era and will need your signoff", and Sam ran with it.

I will be honest, I am very surprised, I never thought Al would ever do anything that would put money in Sam's pocket.

Maybe the money in his pocket finally become more important to him than the money in Sam's pocket.

WB Records 100% definitely still owns the 812, FUCK, LRHRN and Balance Masters. They could also still own 5150 as well. But its possible VH Inc owns 5150 since they've passed the 35 year mark.

WB most likely doesn't need sign off to release Remasters of the last 4 simply because they own them and the right to finely adjust the stereo Master tapes.
