DLR obviously has his limits as a singer, but what he excels at in my humble opinion is bringing across the tone and emotion of the song.

Edit: also shows how talented Edgar Winter was, I believe this is him on the saxophone.

We'll consider that my fault, never really thought anyone on here would be that interested in a DLR unreleased thread. Maybe now is a perfect time for it, as they hit the end of their careers.

Correct, but it didn't make it onto his official YouTube channel as a stand-alone until yesterday.

Shine a Light feedback was a lot better than expected so brought it back. Originally it was a clip within a Roth Show so that version was a clip about 2 minutes or so now put up the whole thing which is 5 plus minutes since fuckers seem to like it. Previous clips were fan made pulling out of the episode. Super cool to see Russ in this cut of it.

The Mojo Dojo posted an updated Shine a Little More video recently, is this the one you are referring to? The Shine the Light demo from the YFLM demos, I can't find anything on YouTube that isn't fan leaked. Just simply could be looking in the wrong places.

Yes, received some really nice feedback on it which was a surprise given not new and really did not get any love back when it was done. So cool to see some stuff that was kinda not really well received well getting a second life. Plus Savage cut Sally and anything with Russ in it is cool. Russ was Dave's baby and I have my own doggie now who goes everywhere too so I get it. Plus Russ was awesome.

Forgot to post this earlier this week and still haven't seen it mentioned--the latest Roth show includes a new unreleased DLR cover. It's a cover of some band named Brewer & Shipley's "Tarkio Road." Just scroll towards the second half of it and it's in there easy to find.

That "Hot Rod" is at the end of it and sounds slightly different, too.
