Here is the complete recording of what Eddie Van Halen would later call "my first interview."

We did it at the side of a basketball court set up backstage at the Day on the Green Concert at the Oakland Coliseum on June 23, 1978.

Sorry! My mistake. This interview with Eddie took place in July, rather than June, 1978. I've fixed the error on the YouTube write-up. I appreciate the heads-up.
